В дистрибутив exim включено много внешнего кода.

• Регулярные выражения поддерживаются в exim`e и в мониторе exim`a с использованием свободно распространяемой библиотеки PCRE, © Университета Кембриджа. Исходные коды находятся в директории “src/pcre”. Однако, это сокращённая версия PCRE.
